Hardy Tie Back System
The new Hardy Tie Back Device provides a solid anchor for worker's safety and is designed to be installed as a permanent part of a multi-story roof structure.
THE HARDY FALL PROTECTION SYSTEMS, INC. Hardy Tie Back System recognized in the IAPMO ER-461report has been evaluated for use as roof level tie back systems. The structural and durability properties of the Hardy Tie Back system comply with the intent of the provisions of the following codes and regulations:
2015 and 2012 International Building Code (IBC)
2015 and 2012 International Residential Code (IRC)
When installed in accordance with this report, the Hardy Roof Tie-Back Systems achieve a 5,000-pound (22 240 N) peak load without permanent deformation, in the vertical and horizontal directions. This result complies with ANSI/International Window Cleaning Association (IWAC) 1-14.1–2001, Window Cleaning Safety Section 9.1 and the California Code of Regulations Title 8, Chapter 4, Subchapter 7, Article 5, Section 3291 (f) (2) (C). These are items that are in the IAPMO ER 461 report.
All three have been tested (3rd party) and achieve the 5000 pound peak load without permanent deformation. All three meet the Design -Capacity.
